whitetailtrophies
Hey im 17 and i got the chance to go bowhunting in Nebraska with my cousin. I only had 3 days to hunt because of school. I hadnt seen anything all week and when it came down to the last night everything went wrong for me, i forgot my release back at the truck, i overdressed and it was an unusually warm night, and my butt coushin fell to the ground right when i got to the stand. After i finaly got my act together i was in the stand maybe 10 minutes when i heard this coyote walking in from the left. I made a noise to stop him and i knew he was pretty far out there, he ended up being 37 yards from my stand when i shot. I wasnt actually sure if i hit him because he was so far away and not the biggest animal in the woods. I went out to look for my arrow and found it covered in blood. My cousin helped me track it but he didnt run far, we found him maybe 50 yards from where i shot him laying dead in a creek. This coyote was my first kill with a bow and by far my favorite hunt!! Im having him full body mounted How big is this guy compared to other coyotes?

whitetailtrophies
he died in a creek so he was all wet when we took the pictures which might explain the color, the dry side was lighter colored

redkneck
Congratulations! You've done something most of us have never done, and most probably never will. Not a big dog, but you did great. I'd be happy to take a yote of any size. Welcome to the forums!
wtnhunt
Congratulations and a nice shot. Have come close on one with a bow, but was not able to pull it off. That is the best kind of yote. Colors are different from what we normally see here and a bit smaller than we see around here.

PAarcher
Congrats man, bowhunting is a real challenge getting game with in a comfortable shooting rage, and a predator at the nice job. Keep at it and you'll soon be filling doe tags as well as your buck tags my friend.
