wtnhunt
Sure can, those pics are not the greatest though. First one don't know frontal pics are tough to age for me, I like to see the body. Going to say at least 2.5 because it looks like he is pretty full in the body, maybe older. Second one kinda looks like a 1.5, but then again the pic is really pixelated and hard to tell the body lines. Third one at least a 3.5 year old. Body and face say he is a mature deer to me, muscular tone in the neck still. But then he is sunk in in the hind end, maybe rut or post rut pics? We got one here that we have had pics of from spring to now, and he had put on a good bit of weight prior to the rut, he looks about 15-20 pounds lighter in the pic we got a few days ago. Deer will lose a good bit of weight running does. Fourth pic again a tough angle, but would guess he is a little older deer from what I can see of the body. Going with a 3.5 or older. Fifth pic looks like a younger deer, when was the pic taken, and where is the deer, Texas deer? If it is a Tennessee deer in the fall I am going with 1.5 year old, look at how slim his neck is. No way that deer is more than 1.5. First one in the second set is an older deer, probably 3.5. That last one is tough to call, but looks like a younger deer to me. TN Bucknasty
Here you go!!! :DAll pictures were of the same deer, the same year, in the same exact location. That was in 2007. Mr. Lonely here is the sole survivor of a bachelor group that was hanging around my farm. He has grown the same basic rack only bigger in the following two years. Its pretty amazing how much the anatomy can change during the course of a few of months, huh?
