TSBH where do you live? Just curious cuz I'll be heading down to KTP to shoot one of those bad boys in the next couple of weeks. called to check their prices the other day. Hopefully I'll be coming home with one.

I live in Mass...about an hour from KTP. I was just up there last Sunday. They have a good selection of Switchbacks.

Re: matthews

thier price for the SB was $689. Didn't seem too bad but it's over an hour drive for me. There's a place about 10 minutes from my house that has them for $699. I'm a little skeptical about the service of that particular proshop however and am still undecided. Think I'll go shoot the bow at that closer one to see if I like it.

Re: matthews

Can't really tell you about the service at KTP. Never bought a bow or anything big from them yet...just little odds and ends. I know the 2 items I went there looking for, they were out of stock so that sorta made me mad and when I asked the guy at the counter, he was sorta rude. But, I know they have a big selection of Switchbacks

Season 3.....LOL...Hopefully heat seeking arrows grin.gif

You guys are killing me with all your talk about KTP. I was stationed near Portsmouth and went there alot back in the day...loved that place. Its got to be even better now since the remodeling and expansion too.

Re: matthews

The new expansion is great. Much bigger now. I bought my TRX there a couple years ago and the service has been pretty good. I've brought it back a couple times to get outfitted wtih some arrows and have a string loop put on and they've been pretty helpful. If I have to take a new bow to a shop if the string stretches or something I don't think I want to have to drive all the way down there. I'll probably end up getting a bow from Howell's in Gray.

mine was 650 before tax after it was about 714.40 or some change, still not bad for a sweet bow..still decideing betweeb whisker biscuit or two prong like it has now..tell me what yall think

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually, I'd go with some sort of drop away rest. I have the Shakey and love it. I'd recommend that.
