92xj
Woke up this morning to -4 F. It is cold! Decided to take a walk down to the river to see what the duck holes were looking like. Needless to say, there were no duck holes. 3 days ago the river was clear. This is the Yakima river right where it dumps into the Columbia. So, post pictures showing the cold near you. coles
thats what the clark fork river looks like here only the ice is piled up about 3-4 feet high. all the ice floating down the river is piling up. the water isnt froze solid, just the floating ice is getting backed up along the whole river. I saw one little open spot right next to the university this morning and it was packed full of greenheads. Wish i could hunt them there but there is no way that would happen since its in town and this town is soo full of tree huggin dirt worshipers
