Turkeygirl
Well I just got in from shooting my bow...first day of late archery in NY. Shot pretty good so I am confident if a bruiser comes along if I get out this week, that I can put that arrow where it belongs...And after taking a brief walk and saying all the fresh tracks in ours woods...and a big set, I think I'll focus my efforts here at home in my little ground blind...just don't know when something might come along....:cool2: Anyone else have a late archery season going? Tecumseh
I still have two tags left to fill.I'm hitting the woods this weekend plus muzzleloader season is next month.
marshall9779
This week is archery here in MD. It splits up the gun and late muzzleloader season. The late bow season here starts 1/4 and goes through 1/30. I will definitely be out. I went out the first weekend of gun season with my bow and got snowed on. Saw a doe and two little ones. I would have taken the doe if she got close enough. I am waiting to see the big 8 again.
WHISKEYSWAMP
I usually hunt until the last day of the season but with my tags filled in my zone I'll most likely stay in and keep warm this late season... unless I decide to head to another zone to try and tag another doe. sskybnd
i still have a doe tag left, but also have till feb 28th, so im not in any real hurry to get back out there, thinking maybe the week of christmas or new years weekend, pretty sure getting a doe wont be any problume, and than i can stay nice and warm the rest of the season. rhine16
Yep, but don't guess you could say it's late season here. We're a week or two from the peak of our rut.

hungry hunter
Still using the bow here, but since the last two rain storms, ya need scuba gear to get to my favorite bow stands, so until the water dries up I have been using rifle. m gardner
Here in Az. the OTC Archery season started last friday. Saw a bunch of deer which is unusual. Sonoran Mulies are usually pretty few and far between. The season goes until jan. 31st. The rut should start shortly. I'll be out saturday again, then we'll pitch our tent and stay for a week and a half after Christmas. Keeps the wife and I from getting bored. RangerClay
Tomorrow is my last day to hunt. Its gonna be -3 dgrees in the morning, too cold for the bow. I will have the trusty smoke pole in hand. Hopefully I will see one more buck.
muggs
It's been a few weeks but I'm heading out of this weekend for a little extended gun hunting and to pull some stands. That might be it.
ruttinbuc
I'll be muzzloader hunting until the end of January or until something half decent with antlers on its head shows up. I might winter bow hunt January if I luck out in Dec. Congrats on the doe, Tom!
