SaskMan
Re: Sheds? Superguide,........being NUTS is what makes the work week so hard to get through. lol. I've been out for a grand total of an hour since you and the boys stopped by. I see in the meantime my favorite areas have been skidooed big time. Lazy buggers. birddog
Re: Sheds? I'll be in touch! I don't even want to keep any sheds (figure it would be a pain to bring them back) just want to get out, get some pics and see what we can find! man! I am getting pumped! I agree that a trip to meadow lake would give me a different perspective of Sask. I had invisioned rolling hills and trees everywhere...I go to moosejaw and began to think I turned wrong and was in Nebraska.... I'll be in touch! Guest BeerSlayer1
Re: Sheds? There's some interesting territory between Assiniboia and the border, you should have a good time down there. I remember back in the winter of 1988 I saw the largest herd of deer I've ever seen southwest of Assiniboia near Wood Mountain. The winters had been really mild (actually, there was no winter that year around there) and the deer population was peaking. My wife and I lost count at about four hundred deer (mule and whitetail) covering a square mile of wheat stubble. If you're staying in Moose Jaw I'd head a half an hour north to the Qu'Appelle River valley and snoop around there as well. Try the SERM office in Moose Jaw, they should be able to give you some tips. Their number is 306 694-3659
