TN Bucknasty
Anybody out there making beaver hoops? What kind of wood are you using. I was thinking of trying willow saplings since that's what they used to use. I've gotten a little over a dozen hides so far that I don't really know what to do with so I'm going to get pretty creative. I might reupholster a chair or two. I'm also thinking of making a bedspread.

KirkV
I used willow as well when I trapped, it makes a nice looking stretched pelt. Good luck Kirk
Shaun_300
My uncle makes them, I forget the kind of wood he uses to do the hoops but they look really good! Next time I'm talking to him I'll ask what kind he uses and let you know. You can see his hoops in this thread. http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=90911
