Ethan Givan
Me and my cousin trap for coyotes but we found this guy in one of our sets this morning. Its the first bobcat we have ever caught. We are planning on getting it mounted. Ive been calling some taxidermists, but Im undecided on what kind of pose to go with. Any suggestions? Diamond Archer 01
Congrats on the bobcat. I don't know much about bobcats so I don't know what pose would be good for it.
Shaun_300
Congrats on the cat! Nice one. Just an idea for the mount, sitting on it's hind legs with its mouth open taking a swipe at a squirrel or other small animal would be cool! What type of trap did you catch that one with because we would like to try trapping some bobcats this winter if we have time? Caught him in a 1.75 double coil victor. Like I said this was meant for a coyote, but this bobcat worked that dirt hole set, baited and lured with Hawbakers. He wasnt getting away. wtnhunt
Nice cat. Have always thought about trying to get one mounted in a sneak pose, and positioning it behind a turkey. Either that or a laying on a limb pose.
oneshot
Nice cat!!!! Maybe the cat mounted in a jumping pose after a bird (mounted grouse/pheasant) with front legs strectched out to grab the bird???

Ethan Givan
Thats preety cool can you hunt bobcats in ky and also is there alot of bobcats? Yes we can hunt and trap bobcats here. We are allowed 5 for the season. The population has really grown in the last few years. There has been close to 500 bobcats taken in KY this year already and we have another 2 1/2 months to trap them.
