Well just got back from my trip to montana. Had a blast running the houds. my father drove out with anouther friend and the hounds and i flew out. the first 5 days were pretty bad. -20 just about everyday and no snow to find fresh tracks. finally we got some snow and better weather. we cut this fresh track that we thought was a smaller cat about 120 pounds at the biggest. well cut the dogs loose and befor long they weer trees. so we got in and this is what we found

and what it was is about 180 pound tom. this thing was huge. and it was the first one i had ever seen in the wild. so after makeing sure we got plenty of video for our next movie. we had to turn and walk away. none of us had a kill tag for this area. so the next day starts off the same. fresh snow and we found a huge track. wasnt sure how old it was so we started to walk it with the hounds. and after about 30 min of walking we bumped the cat out of it bed so away the hounds go. the runn for about 30 -45 min and then shut up. couldnt figure out what was going on and then they started treeing. so we started to runn. and theer was the cat. sitting pretty in the tree. and this time we had a shooter. this guy was 72 years old. Never seen a cat in his life. so while i was videoing he shoots and down the cat comes. only problem i didnt get the shot on video. i was falling because it was so steep and slick. the only pics i have for now is me and the cat so here it goes let me kwno what u think
