Bowtech Diamond Marquis

I got a killer deal on a Diamond Marquis ($460.00 new) so I bought it. It is well engineered and well built except for the string dampener. The darned thing captures the string between some little rubber fingers and comes out and hangs on the string every few shots. So I glued it in. This helped except that it wears out quickly and pelts your face with little chunks of rubber. I called Bowtech and they passed me around worse than a drunken prom date. I have engineered my own version that works. I made a replacement bracket and bought a PSE dampener replacement rubber for $9.50 to put on it. Works like a charm. Thought I'd share the results with anyone who is having fits with theirs. Mark
