Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
:hammer1: Was taking a movie back to the video store before dropping my cousin off at home. While we were sitting at a stoplight, we hear tires screeching, and heard BOOM! and then felt a BOOM!:hammer1: Some lady in a ford explorer wasn't paying attention, and at the last minute had to slam on her brakes. By that time it was to late and she rear ended the car behind us, a pontiac aztec, which then slammed into us. Luckily, a police officer was in the lane next to us and she seen the entire thing. Not to much damage to our truck it rolled the bumper under a little bit, not bad. The Explorer that caused it was pretty bad, the front end was smashed and I don't think it wasn't driveable. The aztec that got caught in the middle, was pretty banged up, the back end, if anyone remembers or has one, you know how there is that plastic molded front and rear bumper all around it, that was rolled up in the back pretty good, and in the front it was smashed up and there was a square outline where it hit our hitch. Other than that, no one was hurt. Edited December 19, 2009 by Michiganbowhunter_SQ2

stevebeilgard
i'm glad no one was hurt. but, pay attention to tomarrow evening for a day or 2. if you have aches developing, you may have been injured worse than you thought. it sometimes takes a day or 2 to manifest. don't hesitate to see a doctor if you get real sore. back problems are not to be ignored. Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Yeah the first thing I did was make sure everyone was OK. I am guessing she was on a cell phone, or just wasn't paying attention to the road. The police officer was sitting right there and watched the whole thing. She said she seen her coming and knew she wasn't going to stop, then at that last minute she slammed on her brakes and wham. i'm glad no one was hurt. but, pay attention to tomarrow evening for a day or 2. if you have aches developing, you may have been injured worse than you thought. it sometimes takes a day or 2 to manifest. don't hesitate to see a doctor if you get real sore. back problems are not to be ignored. Yeah I'll be watching Steve. I also told my cousin the same thing just in case. The weird part about it was that the day before, me and him were out doing some Christmas shopping and on the way home we were talking about the few accidents we each have been in, then this happens. So I made sure to talk about all the times I have won money or the lotto when we were done with the accident stuff.:cool2: Hopefully today is the day I hit it big!!
