redkneck
Get some charcoal for your smoker, you'll be much better off IMO. Throw some green hickory on there for a little smoke. I just rub mine down with some Tony's real good preferably overnight, and put it on for about 10 hours. We cooked 300 this week and they all turned out good, lol. Snipe
My advise would be buy some lump or charcoal, fire up your pit and use your wet wood.. It will dry out. Just don't use as much wood... I would rather suffer smoking with wet wood then sacrificing a good butt to the oven...

HUNTINGMAN
Alright I got it. I deboned my butt and put it in the crockpot to make pulled pork Bbq. Here's what I did, I mixed 2 ups of water with about 3tbs of KY Kernal flower, which is already seasoned. I then poured in in the pot, cut up 2 cheyen peppers in half,3 jalipino peppers into thirds, and 4 cloves of garlic and placed in pot. I cooked it on high for about 12 hours or until the meat fell apart when you looked at it. I then drained it in a strained and took all meat out and put in crockpot to shred. I mashed up the peppers and garlic and put back in. I didn't have everything to make homemade BBQ sauce so I had 2 bottles of Jack daniels Bbq sauce that I added to it. Man this turned out great, it has the kick from the peppers and the tangyness from the BBQ sauce, this stuff is slap your momma good. I'll get some pics up later.
