Strut10
something seems funny here. it's 2 months early for a new shed anywhere. this could be an interesting photo. Steve-O....... Two years ago today, a buddy of mine shot a "huge doe" on the Strut10 Ranch with his flintlock. Turns out, when he got down to it, it had big, bloody sockets on its noggin. Strange. That deer had shed by Christmas. But I've also seen more than a few bucks carrying antlers the last week of March around here. Go figger. Rick Smith
Carzy weather Seems so strange that they are losing there horns so early.Another friend shot a 170 class buck during second season.Said when the deer fell a horn poped off.LOL Then he grabed the other horn to drag it to his truck and when he was about ten feet from the truck The other one came off in his hand.He was bumded out till i told him he could still have it mounted .That put a smile back on his face. buckee
A beautiful set for sure. It seems like the big boys are always the first ones to drop, and they often do it early. The rest of them seem to hang in there until at least the end of January, and into and through February. Pretty dang cool find alright.
