SourthenILdeerhunter
go over the limbs very carefully and look for cracks a buddy of mine dry fired his on accident 1 day he looked it over didnt see anything the next day he went hunting he pulled back and the limbs snapped so look it over very carefully with a magnifined glass and follow others advice. RangerClay
If you are unsure of what you are looking for, take it to a pro shop. Have an expert give it the once over. Its better than having it blow up in you face.
Tony
its not just the limbs that might be bad. you need to have the axles checked. a lot of times when bows are dry fired they bend the axles. you could take it to a local shop and have them go over it. Turkeygirl
Better to be safe...Take it to a shop and have it looked over just to be sure.

Leo
The strings and cables take a big part of the shock during a dry fire. If they look fuzzier than they did before the dry fire and suddenly your peep no longer lines up, I'd suspect string and cable damage. backwoods07
Take it to a pro shop. Examine the strings and the serving on the strings, especially around the cam/cams. The damage may not be obvious! Having a damaged bow sitting in a stand 20 ft high is not a safe combination.
Shaun_300
Definitely get it checked out, like the others said, better to be safe and have it checked out by a pro than have it blow up in your face.
Prairiepredator
My dad and I have had similar things happen, ours were not complete dryfires because they was not quite at full draw yet. We took ours in to get checked and everything seemed to be fine. Although, I did get my strings replaced and a new rest put on because somehow it got wrecked. But definately take it to your local archery shop to get it checked over.
