LifeNRA
This is my first attempt at a green caddis. The material is wrapped around the thread, called dubbing. It's twisted on there pretty tight. Then another material is used to form the ribbing. Looks pretty buggy huh? LOL! I also finally got my midge jaws for my vise. What a difference they make when tying a size 22 hook!!! Edited December 26, 2009 by LifeNRA
Turkeygirl
Pretty nice! That some tinsel ya use for ribbing? How do you put your dubbing on? Wax the thread and twist it on or do you use one of those dubbing tools?
LifeNRA
I just use my fingers and use a thread that is waxed. Twist it counter clockwise, for some reason it just works better that way.
