I'm pretty sure the picture is posed and a good one at that. "Winters Harvest"

ya sorry i hadn't posted sooner i've been on the road traveling,, the buck was actually taken during rifle season from a friend in southern michigan,, If i would have taken this buck i would have gotten him mounted and the reason why he's not on the wall already is because the guy that shot this buck also shot a bigger buck over 20 inches inside along with his son too,, I did this euro mount for him and i did another for his son who took a really nice nine so i figured i would try and get some good use out of the head while i still was working on them.. thanks for the compliments guys

Thats an awesome photo...but just my opinion, i think that would be a great photo for the month of March...thats usually when things like this look similar and are revealed from the winter thaw...something titled like "The Warrior" or "Hidden Treasures"....

Either way, nice pic, and keep us posted, it looks like its gonna be a pretty sweet calendar.

Hi Drew,

Very nice picture, but in my opinion it looks too staged.

I'm not sure what you're going for with the calander (maybe staged isn't an issue), but why not just throw in a nice big shed instead of a whitened euro mount? Also the shed would make a better picture for February or March as Dan mentioned since that's the time a lot of deer shed.
