For those of you that have seen the movie cars you will get a kick out of that name. We picked him up Wednesday before christmas down in Krum. Super nice guy we bought him from and heck of a waterfowl hunter. Mater has a pretty good bloodline behind him and is already retreiving wings. Hoping by next year he will be chasing ducks. Long row to hoe but I think we will get there. Oh the reason we named him Mater is because of his darker color. They called him Red and my wife said Rusty.
