Guest TennesseeTurkey
My cousin sent me these pictures. She was outside with her nephew taking pictures of his new bike he got for christmas above the lake where my uncle keeps his pet channel cat's and, this BIG dude was on the ground starting to eat this pretty hefty cat. Luckily she had her camera because she was taking some of her nephew and his bike! These are too cool!

stevebeilgard
we see quite a few here in wyoming, but nothing like we see in alaska. haines, alaska, home of the bald eagle center, has about 3500 birds in the 22 miles of the chilkat river in february. what a sight to see. on their chamber of commerce brochure cover, they have a lone cottonwood tree, leafless, with 169 bald eagles sitting in that one tree.
