ROADKILL04
Well I am looking at getting some more arrows for next year I was wondering what yalls opinions are between the two I was told by 2 different archery shops that the carbon express arrows was a more durable and straighter arrow and would outperform the axis thanks for your input
Ohiobucks
That's been my experience. I've shot both, and the Maxima is the better arrow in my setup.
The_Kat
I shot Maxima last year and switched to Easton Epics this year....I'll be ordering another dozen of the Maximas next year. I had three epics break during regular target practice.
HUNTINGMAN
Cant go wrong with the maxima hunters.
RangerClay
I shoot Maxima's. They are the same as the Maxima Hunters but without the Camo. Plus they are a little less expensive than the Hunters.
ROADKILL04
Any more opinions between the two
buschboxer
I have shot maximas for 4 years, never had one break or splinter.
backwoods07
Easton's work better with my setup. Never had a problem with them.
8ptbuckpa
i have shot alot of of arrows throught my XT (cx,gt,victory, beman, pse,) but so far after about 1000 shots in the past month with my axis i prefer them with my set up. if you want the straightest arrows go with victory they hold there dozen groups to the tightest tolerances only problem was for me they were hard to get, only plus i saw with the maxima hunters is there "weight forward design" but i didnt see a difference at ranges past 40 yards with my bow compared to nonFOC'd arrows. PSE radial X where as tough as nails, but i like the axis cuz its a great compromise between straight and tough IMO and it does allow for better penetration and the HIT insert did make some difference with my broadheadflight out at 50 yards (i dont shoot past that with fixed blades in practice) and with my tekans past that they flew normal for me
hutchies
If your not afraid of some change checkout goldtip XT hunters. Cheap and they shoot extremely well. I've shot the same arrow thru 3 deer with any problems
dartonman
What is your set up right now.....I may send you one of each if you swear in blood (not really) to return them. I believe I have at least a couple Maxima's at 29 inches, Easton Epic 400's, Goldtip 5575, and Goldtip 7595......pm me if your interested...some aren't pretty, but you will get the idea I think what your bow likes........al
doubledrop
I shoot Maxima's. They are the same as the Maxima Hunters but without the Camo. Plus they are a little less expensive than the Hunters. me too
joeaveragehunter
I switched from the axis to the maximas and couldn't be happier
ChrisSeb53
If you are open to other brands I shoot Cabela's Stalker Extreme carbon arrows. 9.3 gpi.. +-.003 straightness...they take easton knocks and inserts plus they are tough as nails.. they come pre fletched in blazers, quikspins, vanes and feathers... they are about 60-80 bucks for a DOZEN... you can't beat that price.. ESPECIALLY for how they perform.. flat, straight and accurate

huntinman802
i have never shot the eastons before but i have shot the maximas and i like them, but with my bow the carbon express terminator lights shoot the best for me, and they are tough too.
