Bowtech_archer07
Well, I wasn't coyote hunting but this morning I saw 8 coyotes while deer hunting during our late winter antlerless only season here in IL and I just got mad at em, so I dropped this guy at 80 yards with my Knight Revolution Muzzleloader. He was quartering to when I shot and I hit him in the shoulder and it came out just behind and blew his heart to pieces. I was pretty excited even for shooting just a coyote. Pics!!! Sorry for the weird look in the first picture... I was squinting and trying to talk at the same time LOL:D

dbHunterNY
Congrats! You say that, but coyotes a lot of times get your heart pounding and pounding even more than deer on occasion. I'm sure it won't be your last. I can't wait to go after my next one. Since I got my new .223 earlier this year, I haven't seen any by chance. We'll see what happens this winter as soon as I can get out.

Bowtech_archer07
Now it is a good yote . Congrats! That dog has a nice hide. Gonna tan it? Clean up the skull? No, I gave him to a friend who traps yotes and he wanted the glands and I'm not really able to afford having the hide tanned. I think the guy I gave it to might try to skin him and sell the pelt.
