Eagle seed co.

I couldn't find the person who mentioned eagle seed soybeans, but I looked them up and made some calls. Even the independent seed guy I know is impressed with them. Has anyone found a minimum area a guy should plant in order to not have the plot over grazed after planting? 1/2 acre? 1 acre? Just looking for an experienced opinion on this specific soybean (forage... big leaf one?.) Also, is there anything else you guys have been holding out on in regards to seeds. I felt like a kid at christmas having found out about these beans.

We planted small plots with eagle seeds soybeans and they have held up rather well to the pressure here. Think my overall plot size on one was around 1/2 acre and we actually planted a smaller plot the previous year.

Holding out, no. I don't keep any secrets when it comes to seed I have had good results from. Some of my favorites are for summer annuals are eagle seeds soybeans, and tecomates lablab plus, fall annuals wheat and penningtons wintergrazer 70 rye grain. For perinneal's really like the hamann farms grower mix and I like to add chickory to that mix.

Here is a pic of our 2008 eagle seeds soybean plot from early September I believe, we planted that plot pretty late in July if I remember correctly and we had a pretty bad drought that year. Just went back and looked and here is a thread from last year http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=76502 I posted on this plot.
