My New YOTE

Well I finally got a good yote killer...I think, what do ya think

Remington MDL 700 sps Tactical in .223

22" heavy barrel

bushnell banner 3-9x50 (had the scope, still like new)

9"-13" bipod (prob be laying down shooting or it will just be a stand...and it looks good)

The stock is fully rubberised

Free floatin barrel

looks great....and if its anything like my remington 700s it will shoot good too.

my thoughts too.......Heavy barrel 700s get carried from the truck to the bench. Way to heavy to pack around. But thats must my .02

Looked up the specs on this gun.

7 1/4 lbs. bare weight. Not as heavy as it appears, obviously. Will go around 9 lbs. as it's pictured.

It still would not be the optimum weight for my style of hunting (lots of walking and using a climber treestand). But most any rifle will come close to the 9 lb. mark when fully accessorized. Not bad. Not bad at all.

shorter barrel and sps stock versus hs precision stock will makes for a big difference........

I think Don is right it won't be that bad packing around.

Can't wait to see it in action. :cool:
