2009 in Pictures

Saw this on another forum and liked it. So here are the rules.

Rules

  • Only one 2009 critter in a post, but you can have multiple pictures of the same critter or pics from that hunt.
  • No overload, you can not post back to back pictures of different hunts or critters. Someone else must post a pictures before you can add another.
  • Comments are fine, but you have to included a picture to respond.
  • This is for all critter hunts

I will start it off with the first hunt of the year for me, or actually my son and I, with our Jan. 03, 2009 hogs that we took at the same time. We had a group of hogs and when I told him I was ready, I waited until he shot and then I shot immediately and we ended up with these two.

Here are a couple of pics of Jacob's antelope that he took in Wyoming this.... oops, last year.

Some of you might recognize the fella in the background of the first pic.

Wow! That buck could be the twin of the one I shot out at Steve's! :eek::cool:

Here's Dad and I with our public land (err...we were hunting public land...but saw this group on the one stretch of private in the area and got permission from the landowner who just happened to be doing some ranch work :D ) South Dakota second season rifle antelope.

It was such a fun hunt and was a great father/son experience. :cool: Dad even bagged his second and third big game animals (and maybe fourth and fifth, I'm still not quite sure if my two are actually mine...Dad just kinda went into "army training mode"...:D ). What a hunt. :cool:
