Muleyman
How did everyone do with there bow this year compared to last year. Since ths is my first year of hunting I can't compare it to last year. I did fairly good though. I didn't get a whitetail with my bow but we bairly tried for whitetail with bow. I did fill my mule deer tag though and that was exciting. So any way, I was just wonderin how everyone did??
Straight Shooter
No bucks, passed on a bunch of small ones. I did take 4 doe's with the bow, not a bad season.
Diamond Archer 01
This year was my first year bowhunting so I can't compare it to anything. I had numerous opportunities but didn't get a deer with my bow. I had a small spike come in and I hit him a little high and I never found it. Even though that happenned, it wasnt a bad season. hunterbobb
I saw lots of deer but nothing big enough that I wanted to shoot. :gun2:
Jorden
I did the same this year as I did last year...didnt get anything. Unlike last year I didnt miss at all this year. Of course I didnt see anything worth missing.
cray8705
I had never gotten a deer in the past with my bow, this year I got two. I shot a doe the second weekend of the season, and then I shot a 6 point mid-october. I saw a lot of deer, and I had two buck tags so I was saving my other one for a big buck. I saw a really nice one but he never came close enough to offer me a shot. Overall a really good season for me.
Prairiepredator
I did not get anything this year. Last year my success better because it was my first year of bowhunting and managed to get a young mule deer. Even though I did not get anything this year, this was my favourite year of hunting so far. I got to watch my brother(muleyman) shoot his first deer ever, and it was his bow. I also had a great time hunting mule deer in some new country I have never hunted before with sureshot and another friend of mine. We seen some awesome bucks down there and had a great time walking, glassing bucks, and enjoying the scenery. I still can not thank sureshot enough for letting me tag along and teaching and showing me so much more about hunting. There are memories I have from this season that will never go away. Tominator
Not as good as last year. I have 1 kill so far, with another probable, but we lost the blood trail on her. Still hunting though. I have 2 tags left.
The_Kat
I have 15 days left but I think I'm prolly done for the year. As far as bow season goes I had the best year so far and didn't stick a thing. I spent over 30 days in the stand and saw tons of bucks and tons of things I've never seen before. I did miss once this season. Still I had a blast! Theres always next year.
Tony
its been a great season for me so far. i shot 2 nice antelope in wyoming, a whitetail doe with my county doe tag and i had a 150 class 10 point within range, but just couldnt get the right shot at him. i still have 9 days left, but with temps near zero and lower for the next few days i doubt im going to fill my any sex bow tag. Ohiobucks
Bitter sweet. Lost my best bow buck to a poor hit. 3-1/2 weeks later, he showed back up on a trail camera. With one tag left, I'm still holding out a hair of hope for him..... 5 does with the bow this year though, that's a personnal best.

turkeydude
I was able to bag two bucks this year, nothing huge, and a coyote. This year was very exciting. I did see a ton of nice deer but never got a chance.

Dakota
It was a year filled with highs and lows for me. I killed two birds with one stone out in Wyoming (first big game bow kill and best antelope buck to date) and came back with a cooler filled with two antelope. I missed the biggest antelope I've ever seen (83 B&C Steve thinks), made a bad shot on an antelope doe and lost her, made a mistake and pushed my first whitetail with a bow and never recovered her and came within inches of taking a 140" 5x5 at 20 yards but he spooked. Such is bowhunting. I've had fun at least! Dakota
Muleyman
Well sounds like everyone has had pretty good years. Even if you don't tag out bowhunting is still a blast!
Shaun_300
No luck for me this year, hopefully next year!
WHISKEYSWAMP
Last year I took a nice antelope buck in Wyoming... and a couple does here in Ohio. This year I took a doe and my biggest buck to date. He is also my first buck and pope and young with a compound bow... have taken many smaller bucks with a crossbow over the years. JackedUpZ71
Season started off really slow for me. Our bow season opened up on Sept 15, and I didn't see a deer while on the stand until mid Oct. The first deer I saw was a little 5pt and he filled the cooler right up. He was the first deer I have ever taken with a bow during gun season. After that things started to heat up a little. I finally connected with the piebald buck I was after on Nov. 20th. All in all I think I had an awesome season.
fly
Still at it! Harvested 1 button buck on opening day. I may have another harvest but I'm not certain???? I shot a decent buck in Nov. and never found it. I found the remains of a buck (105 inch 2.5 year old 9-point) that may likely be that same deer while looking for a big buck I shot in December. I never found the December buck. Last year I harvested everything I shot (2 does).
Ravin R10 man
As it turned out we did ok bowhunting.....Slash started us off with a bang! Then my brother got a buck mid season; I got to finish off with this buck late season; Each one of us could quote Rodger Raglin......."We had a pretty good day!"
