ALAN Posted January 3, 2010 Report Share Posted January 3, 2010 i nailed me a deer...im a sharp shooter...lol morning started earily had to leave my home at 3 am for a drive..drive was good..i meet up with jeremy and tyler of team hco at 5:30 am..we went to a timber with a ladderrstand in it at 6:30 sat there for almost 2 hrs didnt see anything just got a little cold cause it was like 20 some below...i wasnt too cold i toughed it out...lol..so then we go to truck warm up and jeremy and tyler talk about what to do next..they both agreed to start pushing deer towards me..well who ever was pushing deer towards me has i posted up saw deer but they didnt come in the direction i was at they was like going in between me and pusher running circles around us.i was posted someplace they would go a different way..lol...then after dinner tyler pushed this one property why me and jeremy sat on ground on the snow just outside of a timbersat there for maybe 10 minutes then all of a sudden deer just was going nuts..a big heard of deer just started running out of the timber...i kid you not there was anywhere from 40 to 50 deer all running and none stopped jeremy gave me the muzzleloaderi got it up looked through the crosshairs got on a deer lead followed through wiuth the shot cause they was all running tails straight up in air.these deer was atleast 150 yards out and not knowing where to shoot/aim for i took out both lungs.... what a rush that was..i pulled the trigger not knowing if i hit it or not jeremy went to look sure enough there was blood and good red blood... i shot him like 150 yards he went another 70 to 80 yards and was down..it was a buck that had lost his antlers..i got so excited seeing all them 40 to 50 deer..im hooked know...lol cant wait till shotgun hopefully i can go with them again and smoke one with my shotgun..thats one goal i have for 2010 take a deer with my shotgun...here is a pic of my deer Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
