archerjg Posted February 19, 2005 Report Share Posted February 19, 2005 I ordered a new 11-87 SPS Super Mag in black synthetic today from my local pro shop. I should have it next week which will give me plenty of time to pattern it and get it setup for Turkey season. I got it for less than $800 and got money off because they had to order it. I Can easily kill turkeys at long distances, 50+ yards. I use 3.5 Winchester #5 HV seems too through a good pattern. I have the extended Rem choke .665" in mine, and it throws really good patterns out to 45 yards.
