Well I was out driving around and pulled into my local pawn shop just to look. Well they had a LIKE NEW bushnell scout 1000 with arc for $80. I asked the guy if the price was correct and if it was working. He said yes price was right and he belived it worked. I was like....ok....let me look at it. I tested it out and it is in perfcect condition (the manual is missing). I looked on the side where it has the manafacturing date it said August 2009....I was thinking you have got to be kidding me, this is to good to be true, on the price tag they put the walmart price of $125 NEW, thats the basic bushnell price. Then I got greedy I was like well how about $55 out the door. The guy said well this has only been here for 2 days but let me see what I can do. he goes how about 65+tax i said how about 65 no tax, and he was like well...I guess we can do that....:hammer1::hammer1::hammer1: HAHAHAHAHA....after he had run me up I pointed out his mistake and informed him that these typically sell just north of $200 and that he had used the wrong price point...OH WELL HAHAHA

I looked this one up on Cabelas and since it's the camo it's 319.99...HAHAHAHAHA

Someone probably stole it from some hunter, and pawned it for a few dollars. It happens here all the time.

this pawn shop has it's own pricing and purchasing department. This guy just happened to have the position to sell it cheap.....I have had the same thing happen there before and told who ever was there....they dont care, it's all on the pricing department....HAHAHA

NOW: who knows where to get an owners manual...lol

sell you a manual for 250.00 :D

LOL....thanks, but I'll stick witht the free online one.

I hope it was not stolen from someone, this place gets LOTS of hunting equipment, guns, stands, camera, bows, knives and clothing. So I hope this was not stolen but I guess that is possible, it's also possible that stuff we buy at grage sales could be stolen...it's all part of the game i guess.

either way, the pawn shop paid 15 bucks for it, made a nice profit, you're way ahead of the game, and the person it was stolen from or run into hard times, he's the one who hurts. such is life. i just bought a camper for 20 cents on the dollar, to a very willing and appreciative divorcee'.
