hyperflow
I bought 2 brand brand new stealth prowlers for archery season, They did not work right off the batt so i sent them in to stealth to get fixed. They told me they couldn;t fix them so they would send me new camera's. I was ok with that, They then call me back to tell me they didn;t have anymore prowlers and they we;re going sending me stealth sniper's Which retail for 180 dollars less then the camras i bought. They make a new stealth prowler HD, that retail for 10 dollars less then what mine did. They refused to send me thoes ones, So now im not sure what im spost to do. Do i just take the ones that retail for 180 less? im pretty pissed off that stealth would do this to a costumer.
hyperflow
I am emailing this thread to stealth, so if you could tell me what you think about stealth's CS and if you would ever buy from them because of bad CS. Also the lady i was talking to on the phone had told me in the first place that these snipers retailed for 150$ more then my prowlers did. When i checked there website they had the snipers retailing at 229$ if i remember correctly. Mine retailed 399$ When i told her that she told me that there offical stealthcam website was wrong and that wasn;t the retail price on the snipers. So really if infact the sniper retailed for over 150 from mine that would make my cams retail at 79 dollars, I guess they must of made a mistake there also when they listed them at 399$ Retail? I think alot of ppl out there should be geting refunds!!!!!
Prairiepredator
I had the stealth cam 1550 and the battery life was absolutley horrible! I did not even bother contacting customer service, I thought would just get a better camera like the moultrie D-40. It would not even be worth my time and money for stealth cam to try and fix it. Maybe I will contact them sometime to see what they will try to do about the camera.
stevebeilgard
wow. that deal sucks big time. i'd contact your state's attorney general and see what they think. a letter to the better business bureau won't hurt, either.
wtnhunt
That is pretty lousy. I had dealings with stealthcam back when they were in the early stages with their 35mm cams. Very first cam I had did not work right, wal mart exchanged it no questions asked, second one took thousands of pics for me. Stealth customer service sent me a few parts for nothing, later on when the cam quit winding film though and I called the customer service tech told me to throw it in the garbage and buy a new one. hyperflow
It just sucks that a compeny would do this to a person, the BBB is in one of my steps to take if i dont get ither a full refund or new stealth prowlers.
camoman1
Having some issues with them myself. Got a new Stealth Cam as a gift a couple months ago, not one of the expensive ones, but similar to the one I already have. It took white-out pics, and the batteries lasted 2 days...I called StealthCam and they said, no prob, sent it back we will fix it. A bit later I get a box from StealthCam with "my" fixed camera in it. Well, its NOT the same camera as mine was camo and this one is black. The display screen does not work and the battery life still sucks. I think all they did was put a different camera in a box and try and pull a fast one....Im in the process of getting a refund, and will NOT be purchasing another StealthCam product. Hope you get your situation figured out!!!
backwoods07
We just bought a Stealth Cam after being displeased with Moultrie. I hope this isn't what I have to look forward to should I have any issues with them. Interested to hear what happens...
TN Bucknasty
What is the deal with these camera companies? Every stinking one of them that I've dealt with have been terrible with the exception of Wildview which is ironic because they make the cheapest cameras ever. Moultrie CS is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! I spent a whopping total of 8 hours on the phone with them, a couple of associates were very rude, and it took 3 months to get my camera back. My Wildgame Innovations camera didn't work when I took it out of the box this week and, I'm getting the runaround from them about it, too. I had a Stealthcam that went out a month ago and, they're giving me flack. I guess I'll try Cuddeback or someone else next time. Surely to goodness there's a decent company out there who you can actually deal with and not have to sell both kidneys to buy their product. brad dryden
I would have told them to keep them and give me my money back. Did you have a receipt?
ruttinbuc
Yes I had some junk 35mm Stealth cams. What crap they were. A good reason that I stayed away from their product despite their claims. You know what they say about first impressions. Really bad way to do business treating you that way.... RangerClay
My cousin has a StealthCam and he hates it. The battery life is terrible. He is lucky if he gets a weeks worth of battery life.

MichiganHunter
I would go to evey major retailers site that allows you to post comments about the products and post your negative feed back. That is the worst thing you could do to them

Every stinking one of them that I've dealt with have been terrible with the exception of Wildview which is ironic because they make the cheapest cameras ever. I agree with the fact that wildview has the best customer service. I have been waiting for them to come out with a good camera. Now they have that IR4 and I love mine. I have 2 of them and will have 3 or 4 by bow season. It's amazing for the price. I wont buy any other brand now. camoman1
Well, I hope you are having better luck than I am. StealthCam said they wont give me a refund. They are going to send me another camera....again. Apparently 3% of their cameras dont work, according to them...I guess I was just lucky enough to get two of them in a row in that 3%....not likely:hammer1: But I guess if they will keep sending me cameras until I get one that works and they pay the shipping....I can live with that......if I have too. shedhunternick
Guess I won't be buying any stealth cams! Don't. Use the cams at all. Don't even open them. Otherwise they may come up with some other bs. Keep fighting them. Make yourself a pest and eventually they will break and you will get your cams. Email them everyday if needed and don't buy any more from this company!

Adjam5
AHAA!...Squeeky wheel gets the grease! Glad your issue was resolved. I had a Stealth cam STC-AD3 with a remote battery box and it was the best cam I ever had...until it got stolen about 2 months ago:angry:. Had nothing but problems with the Wildviews, which BTW are made by Stealth cam. The Wildviews would not work when it got below freezing. I went with rechargeable "c" batts and got good life out of them. I had exchanged the Wildviews many times and got refurbished ones in replacement, but they too would not work in the cold. It might be a while before I put another cam out. Still smarting from the last one stolen.
mallard_drake85
We are currently having problems with Stealthcam too...we bought 2 of the sniper series over the summer, one works most of the time, the other has had problems since the very beginning. my Brother sent it back to stealthcam once and they sent him a new unit...same problem so he sent it back again before thanksgiving and they said they would send him a replacement, but he still has not recieved one...i believe we are going to spend our money towards a higher quality product in the near future. We are very displeased with Stealthcam, and were mislead by something with Jim Shockey's endorsement!
