Well we got our 'new' camera from stealthcam the other day. This one at least is the same model as the broken one we sent them. It appears to be fully operational, in the house anyways. Still saving up for a cudde..

I would call the better business bureau and tell them to you were gonna report to every hunting magazine and say how bad they are. You also have back up references on here to back your word up. Just from reading this i would not buy a stealth cam.

Guess I'm lucky with my Stealthcams as I have 3 and they work great, but after reading this I might have to think about my next camera hard. my 2mp (don't have the model # right here) mind you I use a external battery and took 1400 in a 1 month stretch (everything from rabbits ,coons, bear, deer, even have a couple birds in flight) my Uncle just bought the 8 meg Sniper but he won't have it out until early fall (hope it works good)

Well as my bro said, We have had problems w/ our steathcams since the beginning. AMOF I got mine back from TX for the 4th time and it flat out didnt work!!! I called them and they proceeded to tell me that I didnt know how to use a camera. I informed them I graduated in December 09 from SIUC with my Masters Degree in Forestry/wildlife management and that my project and thesis revolved around using trail cameras to monitor predator and prey species. They flat out told me it was my problem not theirs. Called BassPro (where we got the cameras) and they are allowing us to return the cameras for a full refund. We will both upgrade our cameras now.
