onthunt
Hi, saw the Rossi match set which is a 50cal., 270 and 17hmr. Anyone know if it is any good?
wtnhunt
Welcome to the forums. A lot of people like the rossi's, I have no first hand experience with them.
Adjam5
Welcome to the forums. I have 2 Rossi long guns. One a .20ga single shot which has a fixed mod choke. Gun performs fine and patterns OK for a fixed choke. The other is a .22mag that can shoot a flea off of a gnats behind with Remington VMax .22mag ammo. The guns are economy minded guns. Rossi is building firearms on brand new equipment and in a modern factory. The quality has never been better. The trigger guards are plastic and the triggers leave a lot to be desired. But for the dough you can't go wrong.
GWSmith
I have a Matched Pair...Rossi/Braztech .50/12 The Rifled Shotgun Barrell has not been used yet. The ML is light and deadly accurate up to the range I've sighted in at (100yds). I have it topped with a 50mm Red Dot and it's a sweet little weapon. I used it almost exclusively last year and the CVA gathered dust! I'll be buying another matched pair in the future!
DocMort
The rossi is a good deal for the tri-fecta pack. I have a ML and 30-06 both shoot well. Just becareful with the ML myself and 2 friends have had the wood handle on the ram rod break.
