Dakota
Hey all, think I'm gonna go with the Federal Premium Mag-Shok 3" 1 1/2oz #7s...maybe #6s...I'll see which one patterns best... Dakota
bluelund79
I've been using the same 870 express magnum since I was 12. No sense in using anything else now. Only difference is the 24" turkey barrel from Remington and the new sure-shot stock I put on it. Its got alot of life left, and its the dedicated turkey gun and when I switch out barrels its my deer gun for shotgun only areas. I'll set up a 20ga for my oldest when we move to a state that'll allow him to hunt at a younger age.

Dakota I wouldnt want to shoot anything smaller than #6s. I would want that extra energy down range but thats just me. Maybe try some #5s as well. Thats what patterns best out of my 12ga and 20ga. I havnt seen those before. I have only shot Winchester turkey loads for several years now so I havnt looked around too much for others. Hoosier Hunter
I used a single shot 20 gauge to kill both of my turkeys. But this year I got a Benelli nova 12ga that I will be using.
