Posted January 6, 2010 Report Share Posted January 6, 2010 Well It's late muzz season and I wasn't doing very good getting on mature bucks, so I took a buddy's kid out to one of my spots where I knew there were a lot of deer. Long story short what we thought was a nice doe came out about 45 yards, he got on the deer and I hear a snap... I'm thinking great it over now. Well I told him to re-cock the bolt and before I could get back on the deer, he smoked it! Turns out it was a shed antler buck but who cares it's his first buck!
