I just have to say, here in West Virginia, we are having a winter for the first time in a while...I got my tires on my truck the day before we got 16 inches of snow, they did great, now for the last week, we have had steady snow, snow covered roads, slick conditions, mind you i live in a very curvy with steep roads area. These tires are wonderful, if any of you live in an area that needs a good tire, pay a little extra and get some BFT AT's.

That is good they are doing well for you.

We have had a few sets of bf goodrich tires and not such great experiences with them. Last set of em we had were on our yukon, they did not last any time, matter of fact one of them developed a bulge that threw the tire out of balance, the tires were fairly new when that happened.

I got 85,000 miles on my last set. The dealer was surprised at the mileage I got. But yeah, I bought another set. Best tires I ever used for driving the mountain I go into. The Goodyear's I had on my truck when I bought it, were the worst! I slipped going up that mountain like you wouldn't believe! But yeah they are not cheap tires by any means.

Goodyear tires are garbage in my opinion, coming from a guy who works on vehicles for a living. BFG's are great tires, keep them rotated every 6500 miles, the right pressure in them, good alignment and they'll last a long time. Another tire I recommend are Michelin's, they seem to last the longest out of all the tires. You may pay a bit more for them, but you get your money's worth with the extra mileage you get out of them, and the performance they have. You get what you pay for when it comes to tires, buy the cheapies, you'll get crappy performance and poor tread life, buy the good ones, they'll last a heck of a lot longer and perform a heck of a lot better. ;)

If I'm not mistaken, BFG is owned by Michelin.

I've run several sets of BFG All Terrain T/A's on various 4x4's. There is not a better looking tire out there. For my usage, they make a good summer tire. But they won't cut it as a year-'round tire for me. I run BFG Mud Terrain T/A's now. Even Mama's Suburban (the Sunday bus and grocery getter) has Mud Terrains on it. I HATE not being able to go where I want.....don't care what vehicle it is.

I think the BFG All Terrains are the best all around, all terrain tire going. There are better specialty tires, but overall they worked best for me. From mud, to snow, to dry roads, they outperformed everything.

I have had several sets of Goodyear Wranglers, and a set of BFG Radial Long Trail's. None of them compared to the quality and traction of the BFG All Terrain.

I ran BFG ATs on my 81 CJ, old 92 Ranger, old 98 Ranger and MTs on my old 00 Ranger and still on my 05 Ram. I will be going back to the ATs on the Ram next year, but have 45k on the MTs with lots of wear left. Dad only runs the ATs on his 2 Jeeps, I just don't see myself ever changing...I don't like change...

Got BFG Mud Terrain M/T's on my F150 and they stay on all year long. I love 'em, not super loud on the highway and I dont get stuck...

Not a fan of GOODfor1YEAR's either..:)

Got BFG ATs on my F150. Fantastic tires. I've got about 40K miles on them so far and still have plenty of tread left. I convinced my brother to put them on his F150 about a month ago.

They're also a good looking tire on a 4x4. Not too big and bulky looking, but not too small and generic looking either.
