muggs
Don't look now ESPN lemmings, but the Big Ten is 4-3 with wins against Oregon, LSU, The U of Miami, and Georgia Tech. Sure sounds more impressive than an OT wins against Northwestern and East Carolina, and wins against Texas A&M, Cincy, and Oklahoma State... gzilla45
Couldn't agree more. But ESPN will never give credit to the Big 10 in anything.
craig mack
There is really only one bowl game that matters and the Big Ten wont be in it.
PotashRLS
Just another flaw in a biased system.
Chrud
The Big Ten is still slow and nothing more than a bunch of high school JV teams. Just ask Colin Cowherd. :gunsmilie:
buckbuster11
Just wait until they add Pitt next year. Then they will be a big time conference.:jaw:
muggs
Just wait until they add Pitt next year. Then they will be a big time conference.:jaw: I'd love to see them add Notre Dame, they've tried, but I read ND doesn't want any part of it because they have such a gem TV contract with NBC or whoever and having to stick with a conferences TV programing would cost their program millions. I'd love to see Pitt added too though. I'd look forward to Pitt vs. Penn St. games.

I hate that loser. His analogies are so random, and how a nerd like that thinks he has any idea of sports is humorous. If you ask Mark May, the Big East is the best conference in the nation because he played in it. If you ask Dr. Holtz, Notre Dame will win the NT every season. If you ask Herbstreit, you could take an SEC team like Kentucky and they'd smoke the New England Patriots. ESPN blows. It's really all that's out there for sports entertainment though...which really blows.

Them playing the Big Ten is part of the reason they got that NBC contract. I say forget them if they dont want to join. Pitt would be a good choice if Notre Dame turns their snobby little nose up at us. After that maybe Mizzou.

Glad I'm not alone. I'm very happy that local programming starts at 10:00 AM on ESPN Milwaukee, so I only get 1 hour of that clown.

That network is filled with two types of employees 1) unqualified dbs with communications degrees who think they're being original and 2) former pro players who are biased (Trent Dilfer).
