danthehuntinman
I had my trail camera out in December trying to get pictures of the big buck that was on the farm. Instead I had a bunch of turkey pictures. I was wondering why the turkeys would be strutting in the winter time like that. So if anyone knows would they please let me know. I thought everyone would enjoy the pictures too just like I did. I have always wanted pictures of a turkey strutting in the snow but didn't think it would come from December. Turkeygirl
That's really cool, nice photos! I'm not sure but I would guess maybe something to do with dominance - showing off who's boss...and maybe getting an early start on the spring fling, lol
toddyboman
nice pics. Turkeys will gobble and strut year around......just ALOT more in the spring. Strutting this time of year is just as TG said....showing who is boss of the flock (dominance)
danthehuntinman
Well I guess he would be the turkey to get this spring then since he is the boss of the flock. He looks like he is a big turkey.
