toddyboman
I like that kind of thinking ....Out of curiosity why Texas??? What did you attach to the bottom and why? Looks good!

Texas skull mount is actually another name for these type of mounts. 9 out of 10 of my customers will always refer to them as Texas skull mounts when asking about them. Nothing is attached to the bottom, I just used a prop to slant the head out for the pic.

RTF
Thanks all. It was a kids first buck kill. The family couldn't afford a full shoulder mount and just wanted an antler mount. I talked them into the skull mount and threw in a free hide tanning. So he gets his deer hide back tanned, and a nice skull mount.

Adjam5
That looks great. I have always been a skull aficionado;). In my travels to Texas...the ants and sun have been critical to cleaning skulls for hunters who do not do full mounts. Quite possibly where the name Texas Skull mount took place? I'm reaching here Cliff . Pure speculation.
