PotashRLS
I really screwed up big time. I found the Mossberg 835 3 1/2" Turkey Tactical HOWITZER on GunBroker that I had been looking for. For whatever reason, I bid $350 instead of hitting the "Buy It Now" for $350 and am currently losing the bid which is now over $400. I am such an IDIOT!!!!!!!!:bang::angry::hammer1::angry:!!!!! My heart is broken.
LETMGROW
There is usually a reason for this. Keep the faith. Another will be along soon. Actually I would prefer to spend the extra $ and buy new with a warranty. Save a buck now and pay it out later doesn't always work. Suck it up and count your blessings. Why did the seller want to sell it anyway? Lynn
PotashRLS
Brand new they are going for over $500. The seller does not state why they are selling either. My brother has one and they are absolutely devestating on turkeys. I actually want it for coyotes using buckshot through a different choke. It is hard to find a deal like that. I was just a bit bummed, but am getting over it now.
coles
Something will come along. I found a stainless/wood ruger hawkeye 270 on there and its a rifle that i have been wanting to put together myself. I was super excited that i found this one on gun broker and i thought it was even better because the seller said it was a factory mixup and that ruger didnt make them like that. So i figured since it was the only one ever made it would be worth alot of money someday. well i looked at them the other day and there are 3 on there now. All from the factory. So i got lucky with the fact that i didnt jump on it right away. Would have been screwed out of $650. The original one that i found is still on there and the other two are way cheaper than the first one.
Grady269
I don't know how relevant this is to you.. I bought an 870 turkey model with the 21" barrel. I saw it in the store and had to have it. My reason is in VA we hunt deer with dogs. It really appealed to me to have such a short light gun to carry when I was hiking dogs through the woods. The issue: it did not shoot buck shot worth a sh*&&(. I tried a buck-kicker choke on it actually made it worse. I ended up ordering a 26" barrel from Remington and now it shoots buck-shot great. The 21" barrel shoots turkey loads fine. Not sure what the reason for the poor performance with Buck-shot was out of the 21" was not good though and it looks like the mossburg is a short barrelled gun as well. Not sure if you would have the same issue.
redkneck
I haven't been overly impressed with my 835 since I bought it.
