swain39
I own a small, but growing outfitting business in west central Illinois. In order to get exposure, we feel the need to host a TV crew. Does anybody have any good info on how to go about this. Any help would be appreciated. ruttinbuc
The best exposure you can get is by having a good hunt at a reasonable price and then selling it on word of mouth. Not to put anyone out here, but there are a ton of outfitters everywhere that you'll never hear of. 99% never had a hunting celeb step foot on their ground. ruttinbuc
Not saying it won't help. The outfitter has to have something to offer. Just by having a celebrity hunter or brand name on a video doesn't mean anything. There has to be something there to sell. If it is a good place and the animals and all are there it should sell itself.
stevebeilgard
you're quite correct, mike. we were always 100% on kills every year. that and seeing tons of game is what kept us in business. if i tell folks i can show them 200 animals a day they think i'm lying. you know i'm being conservative.
