I had to unfortunately sell my 69 Firebird Convertible, which I owned for 26 years... a few years ago due to lack of space to store it :(.

A rare car. 4.1lt/250cu, Inline 6, single bbl carb, with a 2 speed powerglide tranny . Whomever usually got a hold of these with the 6's in them, ripped it out and put in a big block. Mine was all original with 62K on it. I miss it so.

The "F" body GM cars will always have my eye.

I used to have a 1970 mustang Boss 302 all spoiled out with a 4-speed hurst and 3:9 posi, chromed mags with 60 series TigerPaws. Also had a '64 chevy Impala SS with a 327 HO.

BUT, it's funny how your priorities change and spare cash for toys dwindle when young'uns appear on the horizon.

Now-a-days, performance for me is measured in "how many miles per gallon" will it get, or will the dad gum thing get stuck in the snow?
