SonnyThomas
I have another link for the Bow Tuning is Secondary - Here's the ticket; Well known coach, actually a couple, profess you are more important than the tuning of the bow. One coach was known to berate a student until the student was near to crying. The student boned up and flat cleaned house at the next shoot with the same said to be bow problem. I'm not saying that the bow doesn't have to be somewhat reasonably tuned, just doesn't have to be all that perfect. Even a bow less than perfect and a mechically sound bow will repeat leaving you needing to repeat the same way each and every time. I back this up with having one rest that came loose and shook around like a dog with a broken leg - I took 3rd in the State Championship 900 match. Another time I rushed a set up and with the arrow propoising something horrible. The arrow was hitting in the bottom of the rest to the point the fletching was being deformed. I took 3rd again in the 900 Championship, but only due to the 4th place finisher choking on his last shot and missing the target. http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=1107335
