Shaun_300
Anthony, the truck is a 2wd and that's the way it'll stay. I'll eventually do a 4 link set up to keep the rear end planted. Ethan, I wasn't meaning the ZR1's, I just meant the plain Vette's. Although it'd give a ZR1 a good run for it's money. I bet my truck will run low 11's in the 1/4, the ZR1 runs the same stock, a few have got into the 10s with slicks on the back. Don, the drivetrain is staying stock for now, gonna see how long it will last. No doubt in my mind it'll explode in no time though since the truck has 250,000km on it. Shaun_300
Thought I'd add a few pics of tonight's progress. Nice shiny clean pistons with new rings on them. Torquing the main bearing caps after I put the crankshaft in. In go the pistons!
SchuLace
That truck is gonna scoot. That would be a fun ride for sure. Good luck on the rebuild. Is the motor going to be a direct bolt in on the stock motor mounts?
