RangerClay
I need create a web page but I have no idea where to start. I would consider my computer skills a 4 or 5 out of 10 so I need something that a first grader can do. Do I need to buy software or is there free stuff out there somewhere. I could really use some help with this. If any of you have your your own web page that you have created I would appreciate some suggestions. :helpsmilie:

Dawg
I used weebly.com to create mine. It's free for the most part but you have to leave the weebly.com in your web address. Just like in my sig below. It's pretty easy.
RangerClay
Are you creating your own web page for personal reason or business reasons? Personal. Actually for our local wine making club.
toddyboman
If it is for personally use mainly and you don't want to spend a lot of money then going a free route like dawg mentioned might be best. I have wrote/designed a few....The most recent one I did was for the company I work for. I did it with some software we purchased. For that site we had to purchase server space from a web server to host our site to the web. So we have a bit of money tied up in our website. However its for the business to help generate money and educate others on what we do. I am sure you can do a google search and find 100's and 1000's of free hosting websites and sites that have templates on creating websites. They are very simple and easy to use. I however haven't used any of them so I can say which is good or bad.
elkoholic
I use 1&1 and here is a link to their site. http://order.1and1.com/xml/order/Home;jsessionid=DAC7D682ADD1890283FAE5DE22B952F6.TCpfix141a?__reuse=1263411644281 It will cost less than $10.00 for your web domain and they have a built in web page builder. I use FTP Pro to upload content to my page which requires a bit of knowledge as far as writing html code. My daughter also has a section on my site and there is a second web page included that the wife planned on using to set up a small business but never got started on it. My site is just for personal use but could easily be a business one and every year there are plans to expand it, but it still remains just a simple setup with pictures. I also use it to host the pictures I post here in the forums. If you want to take a look; http://huntinmt.com/ is the place to go.
