Tony Romo

Due to Romo's playoff bumbles, I'd personally take Manning, Brady, Favre, Brees, Rivers, Warner, E. Manning and Schaub over Romo.

I'm not a big numbers guy. It's very hard to win a super bowl without a "crunch-time" QB...the one that makes good decisions under the worst pressure. Romo isn't one of them. In fact, given the talent that Dallas has fielded these past few years, I'd probably rate him as one of the worst.

Now you are making some sense. Except that you left the best big money QB in all the land, Ben Roethlisberger.

Good point, he's the prime example of what a game managing, average QB should be able to do with a good running game and a great defense.

Put a guy like Trent Dilfer or Big Ben on that Cowboys team and they'd be in the NFC championship this weekend.

If I had my pick of a QB to take on my team, in no particular order I'd rather have:

Schaub

Peyton

Eli

Rivers

Rodgers

Brees

Big Fat Ben

Fav-rah

Warner

McNabb

Matt Ryan

Sry...put Ben behind Brees and stick Rodgers in there at the end behind Schaub.

I agree partially with what you're saying VA, but I don't recall Manning or Brady having the team around them that Dallas does. Give Romo some more experience under his belt and maybe he'll be able to push Dallas to the championship, but you can bet he won't be the "driving force".

But right now, part of me can't help but think that Trent Dilfer could've taken Dallas to the superbowl this year.:D

So the forum "experts" (and I use that term loosely) have him in the top 12 QB's in the league. For an undrafted third year QB that is not to bad.

The main problem I see here is all of you are just haters on the 'Boys. If you could get over that, you might actually see some potential in him.:yes::yes:

Used to HATE the Cowboys, now I sort of root for them. More than likely, they'll be playing when my son and I watch our first NFL game live. So I'm kind of hoping he starts rooting for them.

That being said, being a Bills fan, I would love to see Romo as our QB. He would definitely be an upgrade over Edwards. Would he take us to the playoffs? Maybe. But I doubt it. I'm of the opinion that a great team doesn't really need a great QB, just one that doesn't make a lot of mistakes and works well under pressure. I'm not sold on Romo handling pressure.

And I'm about as much of a "forum expert" as you two claim to be, so don't go there. You know what they say about opinions....everyone has one and everyone thinks that theirs doesn't stink.

I guess I will chime in on this one too....

Interesting fact....Rookie QB Mark Sanchez has twice as many playoff wins as Romo...:D

Romo is a decent QB in my opinion. However there are many other QB's I would pick before him. He has some great games, and he has his share of terrible ones.

Every QB has a bad game. But a bad game for Petyton Manning is 1TD and 2 picks and maybe going 15 for 35 passing. A Romo bad game is 2 or 3 pics, a fumble no TD's ,missed opportunity at a big play. Basically when he plays poorly its POOR!!

I think he is a middle of the pack QB.

haters

I think it is funny how all the haters can't stop talking about the Cowboys.

Excuse me if this was already discussed, but I had to skip alot of the same old, tired hater discussion about Romo and the Cowboys.

How many years did it take for Manning to get his ring?

Farve?

Elway?

How many rings or playoff wins did Marino get?

How many teams right now would LOVE to have Romo?

How many times were the Cowboys/Romo written off this season as done for the season? :crutch:

Give it a rest.
