wtnhunt
Ordered this dpms long range 308 in January of 2009 back before we decided to build a house. Only took dpms eleven and a half months to build it, but it did finally come in and I got to pick it up last week. Had a few upgrades added when they built it including a jp trigger, fluted barrel, and upgraded A3 upper with dust cover. Can already see a few things I want to upgrade when funds are available. May be a little while before I can get the scope I want, but planning to go with something probably in a 4.5-14X42 or larger obj.

Shaun_300
Very nice William, I bet you'd like my Bushnell Elite 3200 5-15x50mm on there. It is a NICE scope.
doubleA
Nice rifle William, I have thought about getting something like that myself. I find the 4.5x14's fit in very well on 308's. Very interested in what kind of accuracy you're going to wring out with it. Post something up when you get a chance.
Tominator
Love that .308. My buddy's sniper rifle is a .308. His is a Remington 700 of some sort. Verrrrrry accurate as you could imagine. He brought it down once and I got to shoot it.

Got to finish off this house and hopefully will have some funds available for a leupold scope. Can also see that the dpms handgrip has to go, likely I will change it to a hogue similar to the one on my rock river. Will definitely report back on what type of accuracy we get. Adjam5
Very sweet William . I am a BIG fan of EVIL Black rifles and yours is in .308. So that must make it extra EVIL:D. So many bullet weights to choose from in the .308 caliber. From 125 gr to 220gr. OH all the fun you are gonna have finding out what it likes best. Congrats on the new addition.
