Yuppers

Brother and I each treated ourselves to a graduation gift of a new PSE Bow Madness XS for graduating with our Master of Science degrees with our sanity! Have only shot the things a few times since we bought em, but absolutly love them. Our old PSE Nova's were 10+ years old and we've harvested numerous deer with em and literally have fireed thousands of arrows so we decided it was time for an upgrade and to convert our Nova's into bowfishing rigs!!!:gunsmilie:

The 10, 20, and 30 yd pins are dead on...havn't had a chance to take it out to 40 or 50 yards yet!

Just bought a barely used Bear Grizzly with the original arrows. It's in perfect condition. I need to pinch myself. I haven't been able to shoot a traditional bow since my last operation in 1996. I tried shooting a friends and found I was strong enough to shoot with fingers again. I have a standing offer to shoot over a gun shy bird dog as soon as I feel I can hit pheasants. Maybe by fall.

best of luck to ya...we've had 2 shoulder opperations each (we're twins and do everything in pairs. lol) and for the longest time were unable to draw even 40#'s. but the doc said that the injury was much less traumatic than it could have been given that our muscles were built up from all the shooting!!! you'll get back to it, it just takes some time...more often than not, alot longer than you would like! lol

I started shooting a compound again 3 years ago, but have some palsy in my hands so I'm good with the release. My fingers seem to work better now so I'm excited about being able to go back to a traditional bow. God bless you guys. I hope you have full recoveries.

anyone get a new bow?

Ordering one this Saturday. Hoyt shooters turn your head. I'm ordering a new Martin ShadowCat. But ain't no way I'm getting rid of my 4 Hoyts.
Well, several weeks passed and no bow. Seems there was a problem in coating the bows. Martin, I guess, now has their own paint, dip or coat operation. However, I was loaned a jet black Shadowcat by a staff shooter. Awesome in a good word. Still, it was a tad slow, managing just 264 fps with the 50 pounds limbs. BUT! Talk about accurate. I couldn't believe it could shoot so well with it being a tad long on draw length. A test bow, it now has been sent back to the factory. And then I got another with 60 pounds limbs to shoot. I guess it's mine. This one is a little updated as the grip is more contoured. And it shoots every bit as good as the jet black one.Just a couple days ago I was shooting 30 yards and more and if I missed the X I was kinda disappointed - still glad to nail the 5 though.Did a test run of sorts - changing draw weight to see how it effected accuracy. And then some guys wanting to know how the Shadowcat shoots didn't help. So a bit of nerves, but from 30 yards and 32 shots later I took a pic.

Bought my first bow: a new-in-box '08 Bowtech Commander. All I need now is a sight and arrows and I'm ready to shoot. A little late to be starting this year I guess, but it should still be fun.

Dont feel bad i just bought an 08 katera a couple of weeks ago, and finally got to shoot it friday evening..
