bluelund79
Finally went and picked up my new bow as a back up to the Turbohawk. It is a Mission BX-1. For $300 new, its pretty nice. Holds well for a light bow, decent wall but with a very smooth draw. The 75% let off feels much higher than it really us. Only one dislike, it has some hand shock, even with a good stab. I think that once I replace the stock cable jax with some better ones and add a string tamer, it'll be better. Only had it a couple of hours, but I shot it alot so far, so I think the peep is settled for the time being. I put on an HHA OL-3000, Trophy Taker Pronghorn, Octane 7" Stab, Fletcher Tru-Peep, Kisser and a Loop. Using a Spot and Stalk pack as the quiver, so its ready for some all purpose use and full-time back up to my Hoyt. For less than 525 out the door for everything brand new, I am happy. ChrisSeb53
try limbsaver's tentacle wrap to wrap around your grip... it really helps reduce hand shock.. it will widen your grip some though...

bluelund79
Small things have helped the hand shock so far. Added solid limb Limbsavers, changed out the stock cable x silencers for Limbsavers, and have a string suppresor on order. I can deal with some, but when your main bow has none, this one felt like a tuning fork, but its still accurate as I can make it!
MUDRUNNER
Nice! Congrats on the new bow! Mission is a pretty nice piece. I shoot a Journey and it doesn't have any hand shock, but is a little on the heavy side.
Dakota
Nice! Congrats on the new bow! Mission is a pretty nice piece. I shoot a Journey and it doesn't have any hand shock, but is a little on the heavy side. I used to have a Journey as well and absolutely regret selling it...I love my Monster, but I miss my Journey... Congrats on the new Mission! bluelund79
I finally got this thing almost perfect. New Vapor Trail strings that are on order is going to complete it! I put on a string stopper and it took all of the hand shock out of the bow. It is really nice to shoot, and is going to be hard to keep as a back up-it may move to share status with the Hoyt, unless I pull the trigger on that 82nd I keep holding and shooting...I'm gonna slap my buddy for getting me back into archery-I'm starting to collect bows like guns....But is fun. Come on thunderchickens...
