m gardner
I got a new G5 Quest Primal a month ago and it's been quite a surprise. I've since let several curious archers shoot it. Two die hard Mathews shooters (one owns a pro-shop) tried it and I didn't think I'd get it back. Yesterday Harry was having problems setting up his new Mathews and I let him shoot the Primal at 40 yards. he had been getting 6 inch groups. He put two arrows nearly touching. One in the x-ring and one just out. These guys aren't easy to impress and habitually spank me on the range. You may want to try one out. Diamond Archer 01
Good to hear that you are happy with it! Good luck with it!
Straight Shooter
They are the old ROSS bows, I own three of them (ROSS) and are great shooters.
m gardner
Did they buy Ross then redesign the bows? I don't remember the ceramic stationary cable guides on any other bows I've seen. The cams are designed to feed the cables through the guides evenly too. The lower end Quest bows do look just like the Ross bows. Mark
EKYhunter
Glad you like your bow. Ross is owned by Bowtech, btw.
m gardner
I've got a Diamond Marquis too. It's good being semi-retired. Mark
Straight Shooter
Quest is the new name for the bow from G5, since ROSS and G5 aren't making bows together anymore. The design of the roller guides and cams are new of course, if you keep up with things like that; in order stay up with the competition. Agreed, ROSS is owned by BowTech now.
