joeaveragehunter
I sat in on a seminar that the owner of antler king gave on food plots at the mn deer classic last year. He is an unbelievebly nice guy when I spoke with him after. I helped my cousin plant an acre of red zone last year. He had excellent germination and had deer coming through every night. I will be trying some red zone myself next year.
Widowmaker
Did you plant the Red Zone in the spring? There is a store around me that has all of their Antler King products marked down to 6.00 to 8.00 dollars depending on which one it is. We put down 300 pounds of 19-19-19 fertilizer and it was limed about a month earlier ( His parents had all their farm fields limed and they put some left overs on his plots). We broadcast seeded the plot and were fortunate enough to get an inch of rain that night. By september 30th, the plot was about 12-18 inches tall. They advertise it as a spring/summer/fall/winter plot so I would plant it right away in spring
