muggs
There's a reason he's only won it once...which puts him on the same level as Trent Dilfer.

Ethan Givan
Even though the vikings lost the NFC champ game, I think pinning it all on Farve is rediculous. The team lost the game, not Farve. Ive never been a huge fan of Farve or the vikings but watching him play this season, I gained some respect for the man. He held up playing against guys 10-15 years younger than him, and no matter what you think, the man can throw a football. Top 10 QB of all time...period. joeaveragehunter
Thats pretty good. I can think of a few other purple jerseys that should a have that warning on them too haha The refs dropped the ball in that game almost as many times as AP. Still loved the jersey in the first post though.

ruttinbuc
Love the guy or hate the guy he took a beating and came back for more. All he did was try to make a play. That is what football players get paid to do. The penalty before the interception is what killed the Minnesota Vikings. PotashRLS
I have become less of a Favre fan over the last 2 years purely because of the black eye the situation gave to both Brett and the Packers. I still believe he is a great quarterback, but any true Packer Fan has to root against the enemy in Purple. He is a tried and true competitor. But he lost some of my respect due to the road he chose to travel (I am not a Ted Thompson fan either!!!!!). He went down in another blaze of glory in true Brett Favre "Gunslinger" Fashion. Only thing is...........the bullet missed the target!!!
The Kid
If brett farve isnt one of the best QB of all time then you give me another,, Never really been a farve fan,, but i can tell you this he didn't pass joe montana's record because he sucks,, he doesn't hold the most consecutive starts because he's a sissy,, how can you blame the game on farve when AP fumbled the ball not once, not twice, but three times,, of course hes gonna try to do more than he needs too,, the whole running back crew couldn't hold on to the ball,, in my eyes he the best QB of all time
Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
but i can tell you this he didn't pass joe montana's record because he sucks Nope, he did it cause he's been in the league for 95 years :D how can you blame the game on farve when AP fumbled the ball not once, not twice, but three timesfirst two were recovered by the vikings, the last one was equally Favres fault, if not all, combine that with his 2 INTs yeah, I'd put most of it on Farve's shoulders. AP had 122 rushing yards and 3 TD's, he's the last person to blame for this loss. of course hes gonna try to do more than he needs too That's just it, he didn't HAVE to do anything, he could have ran and picked up a few more yards. Just like every other time his ego got in the way and he had to be the one to make the "great" play. Hopefully he'll retire so we don't have to see or listen to how "great" he is every time he throws a 5 yard dump off pass.:hammer1::hammer1: Edited January 28, 2010 by Michiganbowhunter_SQ2
Chrud
how can you blame the game on farve when AP fumbled the ball not once, not twice, but three times For the last time (hopefully)... AP fumbled the ball TWICE. The first was recovered by Minnesota (not a turnover) for a loss of 10 yards. The next play was a 21 yard pass and the drive ended in an AP touchdown. The second fumble was recovered by AP (again, not a turnover) for about a 10 yard gain. Not sure how you can blame AP for that. And according to the official stats, the fumble inside the 10 is Favre's fault. That was one of three turnovers by Favre (note...0 turnovers and 3 TD for Peterson). I think everyone is judging the type of person he is, when they have never met the guy. Seems alittle unfair. I know he is a fellow deer hunter, so he cant be that bad. camoman1
I always thought that making big plays is what made a guy a good football player.....shame on him for trying to be good. (Im not saying that his last pass wasnt a bone head move)

I dont care what the stats say if you played running back in football im not talking about no highschool bs, i'm talking college and above you know to take the hand off first than find a seam,, he was clearly lookin to find the hole first and didnt take the handoff properly,, whether or not AP fumbled the ball and recoverd doesn't matter its still a fumble,, why do you think he was riding the pine after the second fumble,, even though he recovered it doesn't matter,, the ball hits the ground that many times its going to do wonders to your confidence eh??
