Chrud
There are reports today out of MN that Favre is going to retire and stay in the twin cities area. Brett and Adrian Peterson are rumored to be co-owners of a local bakery specializing in.....Turnovers. :p:p:smoke: Heard that on "Green and Gold Today" this morning. Good stuff! I still can't believe people are blaming a guy that had 3 TD's and no turnovers rather than a guy that had 1 TD and 3 turnovers, including the eventual game-losing INT. :boxing: Then again, when I was a Favre fan I always blamed everyone else for his mistakes too. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Vikings fans are now buffaloed by him too.
camoman1
I know you dont agree....but that fumble at the goal line where they muffed the hand off, I think that was a little of both of their faults. It gets counted in the books as Favres because he was the one to actually have posession of it last....but peterson clearly bagged up the handoff. BrotherBadger
Where does everyone get that Farve has a big ego? He seems like a down to earth fella to me. I think everyone is judging the type of person he is, when they have never met the guy. Seems alittle unfair. I know he is a fellow deer hunter, so he cant be that bad. Let me put it to you this way, the PR dept in green bay did one HECK of a job with Favre. They are the reason he has the image he does today. They sold an image to the public, and we bought it hook, line and sinker. Am i saying he is a bad guy? no. But he is not the guy the media/NFL has made him out to be all these years.
